Sonoma Wedding
On a hot summer day in beautiful Sonoma County, China and James finally said "I do." The wedding and reception was held Rhone Ranch, a picturesque venue surrounded by vineyards and mountains. The ladies prepped in the main house while the guys got shaved at a local barber shop before suiting up in the main house living room.
The ceremony was held outside under the shade of a willow tree with paper parasols provided for the guests. In a beaded and satin trumpet style gown, China walked down the aisle on the arm of her brother to exchange rings with her earnestly awaiting groom. The ceremony concluded with vintage French tunes, cold drinks, and tasty snacks provided for guests as they wandered the main garden.
The reception was held in the newly constructed barn and guests dined on ridiculously delicious fare from The Lady and the Fig's food truck, the Fig Rig, parked outside (my bacon burger was TO DIE FOR). Following the meal, the wedding party showered the couple with love and encouragement before China shared a speech and song in memory of her father. After a sharing this special moment with her family, China and James shared their first dance as a married pair before cutting into their gorgeous wedding cake that the maid of honor created herself!
Despite being incredibly pregnant, I was able to capture the day with the help of my second photographer, Jennifer Gordon. What a beautiful day for a wedding! Thank you, China and James, for letting me capture it for you!
