Motherhood can be a roller coaster ride, both exciting, sometime vomit inducing, and after the chaos you say you want to do it again. It's an experience unlike any other, and it's a journey that deserves to be captured in the most beautiful way possible. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a mother and baby photo session in Dahlia Field in Petaluma, California that was truly captivating. The session included a vintage camper, cute children's mini farm, colorful flowers, beautiful golden light, and lots of fun.
Kate and Calvin arrived with their wardrobe options, and once we realized that Kate’s dress exactly matched the ombre design of the vintage camper, we obviously had to go with that. My family wandered around and played (they often come with me to my photo sessions because who doesn’t want to spend time in beautiful places at the most beautiful time of day?) while Kate, Calvin and I acquainted ourselves with the property (which was otherwise free of people for our photo session).
