Boulder Family Photographer | Fall Colors in Boulder| Sunshine Lady Photography
For photographers, fall is synonymous with “busy season,” because all the moms come out of the woodworks and want to get those family pics ready for their holiday cards! (you can find super cute options already available to clients in the store sections of their galleries). This fall was no different for me! I spread out my minis this year over a number of week days and weekends so I could offer a number of locations, and we had the best weather ever this fall to accommodate us. One family’s session that I loved in particular with the Nguyen family. I asked Mom, Linda, to answer some motherhood questions for my readers about their session. Keep scrolling to learn about how she selected her wardrobe and planned for her session!
Who are you, what do you do, and where are you from?
I'm Linda, mama of two and a pharmacist. My husband, Vu, is also a pharmacist. We are from Charleston, SC and lived in the DC area for 10 years before relocating to beautiful CO.
What did you choose to wear for our shoot?
I chose an off-the-shoulder floral maxi dress in muted, earthy tones. I love long flowy dresses, especially for photos, because they move well and always make me feel great. Your online styling tool made it a breeze to plan and coordinate the rest of the family's outfits after I had chosen my dress. (Yep, you read that correctly- I do offer a complementary styling tool for my clients to use for planning their wardrobes).
What did you enjoy most about our photo session?
We enjoyed how relaxed the session felt. We appreciated the gentle prompts and direction you gave that helped us get comfortable and not think too much about our on-camera awkwardness. We loved the gorgeous location that you selected for our shoot as well. I know the kids enjoyed exploring the trail and open fields. Please Define Motherhood In Your Own Words.
