Hi, I’m Kate. I'm an award-winning maternity, newborn, family, and brand photographer, capturing the magic of life in Northern Colorado and the San Francisco Bay Area while juggling the joy (and occasional chaos) of raising curious and compassionate little women.

Ever since my grandfather gifted me my first purple Vivitar camera, I've found photography to be the most interesting, rewarding, and inspiring hobby. Once I learned I was pregnant, my interest become more focused on the beauty of motherhood- pregnancy, sweet new life, and all the chaos that unfolds in family life. And once I started my business, I became OBSESSED with supporting women entrepreneurs. 

An eternal optimist, I believe beauty can be found everywhere if you are looking for it. I strive to capture the most important moments of parenthood and entrepreneurship and mirror back this beauty for my clients to see too.

Usually, family photo shoots are pretty awkward, and my husband isn’t the biggest fan of doing them. However, this was not the case with Kate. We felt comfortable from the get-go, and you could tell she knew what she was doing. My husband commented after our shoot that he had actually enjoyed it.
